
Salute to Youth
Salute to Youth Project, Inc., initiated in 1960, provides scholarships and financial awards to college-bound high school seniors.
Founded in 1960, Salute to Youth Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization primarily funded by the Brooklyn Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, provides scholarships and financial support to college-bound high school seniors. To date, over $425,000 has been awarded to more than 600 deserving students. Our scholars have gone on to attend top institutions such as Columbia, Spelman, Harvard, UPenn, and Morehouse.
Current awardees study at schools including SUNY Oswego, Syracuse University, Temple, and Trinity College, with many maintaining GPAs above 3.0. The Project also supports youth through mentoring, cultural enrichment, college tours, and the annual Women of African Descent Film Festival.
With generous support from the community, corporate partners, and fellow Links, Salute to Youth Project, Inc. remains committed to recognizing and uplifting the next generation of leaders through education and opportunity.
